As morning comes you are disappointed to have only finished your new Flame upgrade to one of your creations. There were some hiccups that took longer than you would have liked. But at least one of them is complete. What do you do for your day-time phase?

(Btw, I should just point out, you have done so many actions requiring luck this game, that putting a -4 in luck might not have been a good move

Remember you can use CCPs to gain 4 investment points per CCP

i do need to increase my luck to get corpses to from my dealer, so i would be willing to spend 2 ccps to increase my luck.

She says with a widening grin. "Or were you thinking more literally? Something that can conjure up a sort of bubble around you?" She says, chuckling. "Either way, I should be able to get you what you want if you have the resources and time for it. You just let me know exactly what it is you are looking for, dear..." *She leans in closer and whispers: "...But should you not have anything of value, I recommend you leave. If you simply wish to have an item that you activate and then protects you for a time, that should be fairly inexpensive. If, instead, you were looking for something that responds to impending harm, and activates a shield around you, that would be significantly more expensive. Of course, you can customize it however you want if you are thinking of the second category. It would be made to order, so would be unique."

(Basically, if you want a pretty straight-forward basic effect you can get it for "free". But if you want a really powerful item you will lose your "rich" trait. If you instead want an artifact you would lose your "rich" trait and gain the "poor" trait.) (edited)

"You would offer me your potential..?" She says, a bit surprised. "Yeees, that will do nicely as currency." (By spending a decent amount of gold that would not impact your traits, and 2 CCPs you could get something like an item that will drain you of 10 AP whenever you are attacked but failed to block. You may then do a Magic stat check. If you roll a 14+ you will turn the hit into a glancing hit.)

(So not a super potent item but a pretty decent boost)

(And actually, it would be off of your Energy stat, not Magic)

my block is very poor, and i don't have a good enough energy stat to justify for myself getting that.

(Ah, my bad, poor phrasing. What I meant was if you fail to defend against an attack you get a free second chance at defending using your energy stat but you need to hit 14+ and it costs 10 AP)

(If you want something else you will have to specify more clearly what it is you're looking after)
