Daytime Phase day 5. It seems that no one showed up to your meeting. After waiting many hours you eventually decide to make it back home. Once there you find a note next to your blankets (None of your animals seem to have noticed it, strangely enough!) The note reads “"Our apologies that we could not make it to our meeting at the Church. With the riots it did not feel safe, and we were unable to get a message to you until now. How about we try again during the day tomorrow in the shopping district?" The next morning you wake up and both you and your animals feel refreshed for the first time in a long time. Eager to get to work, you consider what to do. What do you do for your daytime phase?

(Hmm, this hivemind mage is troublesome since I can't detect or hide from them, I guess if you can't beat them see if you can join them, haha >.>) Blake decides to bring Bilbo with her to the shopping district, while she sends Legolas and Aragon to check out Craig Hill somewhat curious about these red-tinted coins a local found. Maybe this is the reason Davey decided to not show up yesterday night and it might also be a good opportunity for the two seagulls to steal a few coins.

(Hmm, so sending the seagulls to do what exactly? Remember that when you aren't looking through them they aren't super intelligent, so you can't expect them to be able to do detective work. You can, however, send all your pets to, say, "listen for loud noises" (Which could be in multiple districts at the same time) or "Break into houses and steal shiny things" (Which would probably have very varied results :P). Telling them to find out who found the gold coins and steal the coins from them would probably be outside of their skill set)

You enter Chandelier Square. Normally it is bustling with people, but with the recent events, people don't seem to be too eager to be outside... As you get to the shopping District you search around for a bit until you notice a rat. When it sees that you notice it, it runs into an alley, almost inviting you to go there with it.

As you enter the alley, you see a swarm of rats. Curiously they seem to be scrambling to get away for some reason. You only have a short moment before they'll get away, vanishing into various small openings and crevices. Do you do/say anything?

A couple of rats turn around and look at you, but most of the swarm disperses. They seem a bit wary, but seem to be watching you.

(I feel like Blake would be the type of person to have this in her pocket so I'm going to go with it but you can also tell me no.) Blake crouches down and takes out a half eaten crushed up dog treat from her her pocket and places it in front of her. "I though y'all wanted to talk you left me that letter didn't you? ... and the pirate has gone missing."

Blake continues to talk as she scratches one of the eating rats behind their ear with a finger "No, no, Bilbo is not dangerous, he only bites bad rats. It's true he was once dead... but look at him now, running around full of life again, like a good doggo. Anyhow trust y'all have run into those alien creatures at the church since they hindered our last meeting... I can't believe someone had their lair in that area. Can y'all? "

(Damn, you are insidious with your infections :D Btw, so far I'm pretty sure I've caught all your attempts to infect people and made them do the appropriate rolls, but you may want to explicitly state in a message to me that you are trying to infect someone so I don't miss it!)

"The pirate is a bit of a long story but to make it short he was preparing to fight against the magus organisation... But then he just disappeared and I read about in the news about a red-tinted treasure which reminds me of the red-tinted gold coins he had... Now I've never heard of a pirate abandoning their bounty so I find it very suspicious, don't you? Speaking of the news are y'all planning to head to Hudson Green tonight? I was tempted to head there but since I don't know how many other mages are planning the same thing I'm thinking it might not be good to head there alone."

"We have seen the mage of the Church inscribe sigils that seem to cause the riots. We removed these sigils from the docks, prior to our first meeting. This mage also appear to be accompanied by a grotesque monster. We lack the words to adequately describe it."

For participating in a mini-scene you have been awarded 1 CCP! Make sure to note it down yourself. Keep it up! Nighttime Phase day 5. You return to your Base for the night, armed with new knowledge about your competitors. The rest of your pets greet you cheerily The seagulls show you a couple of bottlecaps they had managed to find, but also manage to gesture that they saw a crashed ship-looking thing in the district. They seem to think it reminded them of Davey’s ship, but strange. Towards the evening, Blake still feels fine, but Bilbo is looking a bit tired (-2 Mod), and the rest of her pets are mostly passed out from the fever. What do you do for your nighttime phase? ( Awesome ^^) With her family out of commission it seems a bit too dangerous for Blake to join the other mages in Hudson Housing district. But Blake thinks she may be able to take advantage of the situation anyways, guessing the church mage may have taken their otherworldly creatures with them if they decided to head to Hudson Green and thinks this might be the perfect opportunity to sneak into their base at the church and spread some germs.

(Just so you're aware, the district was pretty dangerous last time you were there as Boromir. While you feel like you could probably handle yourself there, it would not be without risks, even if the church mage is not there.)

(Humm, yes, it's really good point. But I feel like going to Hudson Green would be more dangerous and I also feel like I should try to be proactive with the church mage before they get too powerful. Might still be a bad decision though, but I feel like I need to do it >.>)

As Blake enters the church district, she can see the madness of the people still living there, screaming loudly to themselves, beating each other up, and generally causing chaos. In addition, you see the otherworldly beasts that ate Boromir stalking the streets. There are many of them now. They don't seem coordinated, but they seem somewhat dangerous. Nothing seems to have spotted you yet, as you expertly stalk the streets, going from alley to alley, and you now approach the church. What do you do?

(Cool^^) First thing Blake checks is if there is a handy back door or open window but if there aren't any her plan b is to try and climb in trough the bell tower.

(Cool! You rolled a natural 20!) As Blake sneaks around to the back of the church she sees an open door leading to the catacombs below the church. From it she can see a mysterious blue glow and a couple of otherworldly creatures emerging from it.

(Oh no, there's a small stream of creatures coming out, not just a creature or two. You can still try to time it and use your stealth but just so you're aware that we're talking about a good amount of them)

I'm not quite ready to give up yet though, I still want to try and make Blake sneak into the church building itself and mess with the wine/food, maybe the windows or bell tower would be the best way to sneak in xd

Blake makes her way through the window, but her boot gets stuck in the windowframe and she falls onto some glass, making a lot of noise. Most of the priests inside are too into their own thoughts to notice, but one man does notice you, and with maddened eyes he approaches you... "What is this... Who are you? What are you doing in the church of the GODS!?"

(I did not expect this guy to stay in his base, might have really messed up xd lol) Blake moves forwards putting her hand up next to the envoy pining him against the wall with her face centimetres from his as she keeps talking (Infection attempt!) "Look, if you want to fight... we can fight. But I heard you wanted to cleanse the world of heathens and what better way to start than with the literal rats that have been removing your sigils. I'm sure you're aware of them?"

(She tries to pin him like this but Blake is the dude.)

At this, three other priests slowly approach you as the Envoy of the Gods takes a battle stance. (and it is time for some combat! Let me paint the scene a bit...)

The priests slowly approach Blake, ready to attack her. Behind her she has the window she just jumped through. Inside the church there are several rows of benches, many overturned in the chaos. There are many more priests but they do not seem interested in fighting currently. Outside in the cemetery there are many otherworldly beasts prowling the area. Blake is no doubt in a dangerous situation. Fleeing is possible, but fighting is also a possibility. The three priests do not look particularly powerful, the main issue is the Envoy himself. What do you do?

…I think it's time to run, if possible it would be pretty neat if Blake could summon some bones or dead arms from the catacombs the church is on top of keeping the movements of envoy restricted and then jumping back out the window.

(So Running is an action, if you do that you will spend your turn just getting as far away as possible. If you want to do something like jump out the window and then use bones to block the windows you can do that but then you don't get as far away. Both are valid options, but you only get to do one.)

You summon up bone-y hands from the ground, and use them to block the windows. The priests are unable to get through, but the Envoy angrily shouts and hits his palm into the church floor and sends a shockwave, destroying your skeleton hands. He then also vaults out the window. However, as he does so, he is immediately attacked by some of the otherworldly creatures. He looks like he has been fighting them for some time and while he isn't looking really hurt, he looks like he has suffered quite some damage already. You may be able to defeat him, but this is also a good opportunity to make an escape. How do you proceed? (You did not manage to get close enough to infect him earlier, he stopped you before you got that close)

As Blake returns, she can tell that Bilbo seems upset. It seems like someone was here before, and from the charades, you think there was a "Bone-man" here, but Bilbo scared him off.
