Daytime Phase day 6. (The following values are current as of the end of the day-phase:) Bank: 5 Hospital: 5 Downtown Apartments: 1 Rue Heights Mage Towers: 5 Rue Heights Mansions: 1 Church: 5 You return to the church, having failed to create the Totem as you wanted! You feel there is little left, so maybe you could return and do the last bit later? Your Servant returns from its mission, presumably having opened the portal. Upon returning you see the Envoy of the Gods maddeningly attacking some of the otherworldly beasts. He looks quite injured, seemingly having fought them non-stop since they began arriving. You don’t suspect he will last much longer if this keeps up. As you wake up the next morning, a word echoes from your dreams… “Wander”! Do your God’s bidding! *What do you and your servant do for your daytime phase?

it is a shame on me that i lacked the power to finish the totem, i shall wander there while's light still exist and finish my work, i have asked the servant to once more move to the hospital and finish blessing the area I go to Craig Hills wizard towers and finish the decay totem while the servant goes to the hospital and creates a portal (edited)

As you stalk the Mage towers of Craig Hill, you notice a very peculiar-looking individual. A skeleton walks around in a pirate outfit trying to look for something. He doesn't seem to have noticed you. What do you do? (edited)

I assume that it’s the scoundrel Davey Bones, if possible i would observ what he is doing but the totem needs to be erected

You can see how the skeleton seems to be carrying a strange-looking item of magical origin. He's also accompanied by a young woman. They seem to be making their way to a part of the sub-district with purpose, as you accidentally step on a piece of glass and they look your way. You're unsure if they've spotted you or not.

Eyeing the priestly warily, The skeleton says, "Can I help ye, priest?" As he speaks, he adds extra emphasis on the word 'priest,' filled with blatant suspicion.

The skeleton laughs a bit, malice and genuine humor mixed in with equal measure. “Ye are either very brave, or very foolish to approach me and ask me that. I be leaning towards the latter. So, I will tell ye this: Either ye state ye true intentions, leave, or keep bothering me and see what happens.” Somehow, despite lacking any face beyond his skull visage, he manages to smile and glare at the same time. “Those be ye three options. Be quick about ye decision, I don’t have all day.”

Myself am simply here for god’s work, the foolish shopkeeper here supplyed an assassin that attacked our holy church, i am here to finish delivering her judgment. You may be an enemy of the church but so to do we feel about the Magus Organisation and i have no intention to help them clean up theire own messes, this assassin using modifyed bullets demands more attention.” (edited)

The skeleton nods, seemingly lost in thought. Then, rubbing his boney chin in a thoughtful manner, he says, “I think we may be able to help each other, priest. How would ye feel about striking a deal?”

“There be a mage that has placed quite a nasty curse on me,” The skeleton says. “that be why I’m here. The object that he or she used to curse me is here, and I be intending to make sure that it won’t be used for it again.” Davey sighs, as he continues speaking. “That said, this curse of mine won’t go away once I do this, it will only prevent me from getting cursed once again. If ye removes this curse of mine, if and when ye find this assassin of yours, I will help ye kill him. If he be a mage in the mage war, he won’t be able to flee if I desire battle with him.” The skeleton grins, and finishes by saying, “What do ye say, priest? Do ye accept?”

With that info you think it should be as easy as decaying the skeleton's soul, or at least the parts of it that are cursed. Should be able to do it in a yiffy.

(Okay, so here's the thing right? You rolled a nat 1 for realizing just how much of a process this would be, and doing anything in this quick manner would basically result in permanent damage or death for the skeleton. Thing is, you rolled a nat 20. So with that I could honestly see you successfully performing the operation despite neither being trained or particularly knowledgeable, simply out of sheer intuition and knowing decay magic... However, at this point the player has basically put their fate in your hands. With that nat 20 you could just erode away their soul instead, if you wanted. Choose wisely.)

(alright, i might have a better way to do it then, but i would like to take his HP down to 1, not kill him, he's still a great distraction against the Magus Organization and i want him around for that)

(i know that it would be more efficient to just outright kill him, but if he believes i'm not a player, then it's in my better interest to keep him around)

After the whole ordeal is over, The skeleton takes a few shaky steps back and lean towards the nearest wall, making noises that sound something between a hiss and a wheeze. After a moment of recollecting himself, he says, “Th-that must be at least the third worst experience of me life.” After a moment, he adds, “and that be saying something.” Standing back up to his full height, he says, “Well, I’ll be on me way to make sure that never happens again. As for ye,” gesturing towards the priest. “If ye require me assistance in dealing with this assassin of ye, I’d reckon ye should be able to catch me at the docks. I would not recommend asking me for at least two days though.” Looking at the priest, he says, “Is that satisfactory to ye?”

(If he goes to the docks and the decay totem is still there he might just die though :P)

With another portal done, judgement day aproaches, but at this point we need to prep more areas for salvation, i think it’s time to focus on spreading god’s influense once more I shall go to Cassava Point’s Power Plant and erect a corruption totem while my servant follows and spreads corruption
