Daytime Phase day 6. Having returned from your encounter with the Envoy of the Gods, you breathe a sigh of relief as you return to your family unscathed. The next morning, you wake up with a horrible headache. Bilbo looks even worse, but the rest of your pets look like they have a similar headache to you. (-2 Mod to you and your pets, but Bilbo can take no actions) What do you do for your daytime phase?

Humm, I think since it would be fun to run into the pirate again Blake might stick around in her base and do a training action in case he decides to visit. (Maybe I can bump my charisma like I tried earlier haha, also I was thinking maybe I could invest my 2 ccp points in buffing Blake's small servants trait, maybe making them more agile or stealthy since more battles are going to happen and I think they are going to have to bite some people.)

(Fair enough! So you're training your charisma stat then? As for your pets, you can probably boost them but I'm not sure if they'll actually be a viable attack option during combat if I'm going to be honest. They can certainly distract opponents and maybe get a lucky hit, but your necromancy is likely going to be the deciding factor, so you probably wanna consider how you would use it in combat ^^) (edited)

(Also, if you want to talk to the pirate, have you considered making a public message, asking him to meet? The reason I'm asking is just to make sure you're aware of that option and also help you with the technical details if you would want to.)

Yes^^ and I see what you mean, I don't think her pets will do a lot of damage either but I also want to atleast attempt to infect people with rabies and not just the plague before the game ends. Might not go great though xd About a public message, I'm not sure if I want everyone else to know I'm trying to meet Davey though since he has a reward on his head and it might paint a pretty big target on my back >.> Maybe I could make it really cryptic but I'm unsure if it's the best move.
Btw, I have a slightly unrelated question, will the infections disappear if Blake dies? Or will they keep affecting the war even if she is no more 🤔

Hmm, that's fair. However, as familiar their stats aren't going to be great for it, they will have a hard time hitting and only have a single HP, so if anyone does an attack hitting an area they will take all your pets out. But I suppose I can see it if you go for a stealthy hit and run strategy...
Because they are familiars I would say their base stats are locked at -5 but you could give them a +2 Modifier if you wanted. I would say you can pay 1 CCP for each mod, and it would only apply to one type of animal. So for instance, you can spend 1 CCP to give your rats +1 stealth and then spend 2 CCPs to give your cats +2 Strike
And yeah, that makes sense, would have to be a pretty darn cryptic message then. Do let me know if you change your mind though!
I imagine the diseases will just run rampant, maybe not as actively, and it might be a bit weaker, but since it's a regular disease it will just keep going!

Makes sense ^^, And I will let you know. I think that maybe the best move would be to try and buff the rats with +2 stealth and hope they can get a sneaky bite or two in c:

Nighttime Phase day 6. You stay in your warehouse, practicing your vocal abilities. No one shows up while you do, but you feel like you might have improved a slight bit. (You got 1 Investment Point in Charisma. 2 more and you can upgrade it!) Your fever feels much better towards the evening, but your pets look quite affected by it (-2 Mod for all your pets) *What do you do for your nighttime phase?

(Neato^^) As night falls Blake decides to take two of her rats, Frodo and Sam, with her inside her coat and sneak into the docks district looking for some loot.

As Blake silently stalks the docks, she gets a weary feeling, as if something is eroding away at her slowly, but for the most part she can shake it off. After some time of confirming that no one is in the area (There was a Mage Signal when you entered, but they seem to have left just as you entered the sub-district.), you notice a strange-looking totem pulsating with ominous energy. You're uncertain of what it does, but it doesn't look good. You expect it to take a while to fully dismantle it so it's not something you can do right now. (It would take an action to destroy it, but you now know where it is if you would like to do something with it in a future phase.) Right around 8 PM, suddenly there is a beam of purple light descending from the skies. You think you can see something coming down from the beam of light. What do you do?

Blake sneaks closer to the purple beam but making sure to keep her eyes open for any other mages and potential traps

Blake sneaks closer and can see what appears to be a treasure chest being lowered inside of the beam of light. She still cannot feel any other Mages in the area as the chest touches the ground and the beam of light disappears. Does she open the chest? (edited)

Yes, Blake leans in and starts to open the chest.

After opening the chest, she can see what appears to be a large wooden stick and many smaller trinkets. She can easily grab the items in her pockets and carry the stick with her, back to Base if she wanted.

(Awesome it's Christmas loot^^) Blake grabs the items and heads back to her family

(Hehe, indeed!) As she gets back to her family, she realizes that she has acquired 2 re-roll beads. 2 skill crystals and 2 Crystals of Potential. (The re-roll beads can be crushed to re-roll any non-1 roll. the skill crystals can increase any 1 stat and the crystals of potential gives CCPs). In addition, upon inspecting the stick, she realizes that it seems to be changing its shape. (You've acquired a magical wand that will change according to its wielder's will. Basically it can create powerful magical effects without costing you your AP. Feel free to describe how it looks as well as decide what new magic school Blake can use!)
