Fellow Mages, One of us is at last dead, killed by a callous and sharply dressed assassin. Congratulations on a job well executed, Walter. Congratulations as well on your successful hit on that stupendously annoying preacher, the so called Envoy of the Gods, though of course that particular elimination did not actually remove an actual competitor from this War of ours. What this means, fellow mages, is that this Walter poses a great threat to us all and I would like him removed from the equation. Rest assured that should any of you manage to accomplish this task, you may bring his rifle to me in the Mage Tower on Craig Hill as proof of your deed and receive your just reward. Furthermore, since none of you seem to have been able to dispose of that ridiculous pirate fellow, let it be known that the bounty on his demise still stands. Let it also be known, Davey, that I have seen fit to intercept and confiscate the shipment of cannonballs you were expecting. Seeing as there is bigger fish to fry, however, I may agree to release this shipment to you and remove the bounty on your life if you provide me with proof that you've disposed of this Walter character. - R. Ye know what? I be haunted by a question, mayhaps ye can help clarify it to me and the others. This channel be accessible to Mages of the Mage War only, as I understand it. And yet, ye can use it at will? I know from first-hand experience that ye be working and receiving protection from the Magus Organization. And, evidently, ye be possessive of resources beyond count. How convenient it must be for a mage in this war to be backed by the self-appointed keepers of the world of magic. And how fortunate it must be for that organization to have a mage who can get them a wish in their pocket! It seems a match made in heaven, as they say! It seems almost downright unfair, really! Especially seeing as ye seem keen on having us eliminating each other... Then again, what do I know? I just be an old pirate who have been sailing the seas for the past three centuries. Sailing those seas, in spite of people just like ye. I wish ye a fortunate war, lapdog.

Ye be a funny man, but no. I simply be wishing to point out that while ye are very eager to make everyone else out to be a threat, ye seem to be in the lead position to win this war. And despite that, ye certainly seem to enjoy having other people do ye dirty work for ye. In other words, this "Walter" fellow ye seem so keen on having us gun for? Not the biggest threat here. Ye are the threat here. On a unrelated note, thanks for killing the Envoy Walter. He killed me bird.
