Character Summary: Walter

Walter Keane, 47 years old, didn’t ask for any of this. He had a knack for conjuring magic, self taught to near perfection. Former mercenary with no affiliation to the people of Maineral. One day Keane crossed the wrong man in his line of work, and as a result his family was taken hostage. As he tried to solve the situation everything went to hell very quickly, and his son was shot before his onw eyes. Walter snapped and executed his wife and used the captors shock to murder his way out of the situation. After that he cut all ties and tied up all loose ends with the help of his trusty arsenal of guns. Then he moved far away to start a new life in a new city under a new name, just in time for the mage wars to start, and of course he was chosen to participate.

Forced to do the whole song and dance again, Walter will have no mercy and will not yield to anything. He will stop at nothing and is willing do whatever it takes to win, or at least to come out alive.

Character Info

Walter is an unconventional Mage who prefers to rely on his expert marksmanship rather than his magic.

He carries an amulet that contains an anti-magic field, nullifying any temporary magical effects and prevents the casting of spells within it, including his own. It also disrupts any magical items in the area.

In addition to this, he carries a custom triple-barreled pistol capable of fitting large, custom sniper rounds that he crafts himself. He also has a rapid fire sub-machine gun for close quarters combat and a long range sniper rifle.

He wields the power of creation magic, making him able to craft almost anything from powerful magical items to mundane ones, depending on how much time and effort he is willing to spend on it.

Walter is uniquely suited to dealing with Mages who are over-reliant on their magic but could face problems when dealing with powerful servants who fight using their abilities rather than magic.
